The Beaufort County Historical Society is the oldest historical organization in Beaufort County, South Carolina.
Our mission is to promote knowledge and appreciation of history with special emphasis on the Beaufort County area. Established in 1939, the Beaufort County Historical Society has continuously worked to collect and share accurate historical information.
